Having flown into the Big Apple the previous evening, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz attended the AXE Instinct launch party in New York City on Wednesday night (June 24).

Held at the Hard Rock Live, the cute couple matched in stylish black rocker ensembles as they posed for pictures and mingled with fellow guests.

Up until the wee hours of the morning, Pete took to his trusty Twitter account to post a few random messages to his fans, first tweeting, "Sometimes its ok to be in the zoo. If you know the zookeeper and he let's you out every few hours to chase gazelles."

A short while later, Wentz added, "Late at night. Time to get busy being me."

Making their way out to the east coast, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were spotted readying to depart out of Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday afternoon (June 24).

The "Pieces of Me" singer and her Fall Out Boy hubby toted their luggage through the terminal, sharing a loving moment on the escalator before making their way to the departures terminal.

Later on the same night, paparazzi were anxiously awaiting the couple's arrival in New York City, snapping up shots as Ashlee and Pete exited JFK Airport with luggage in tow.

On a side note, Miss Simpson seems to have found herself some top-notch traveling music, as she tweeted last night: "Go buy the new cobra song.. It's stuck in my head, and the video is rad.. leighton's such a babe in it!"

Taking some time off from her mommy duties, Ashlee Simpson was spotted out doing some shopping at Alice + Olivia in Los Angeles on Friday (June 19).

Looking quite lovely in tight black pants, biker boots and a gray tanktop, the "Melrose Place" actress perused the racks at the trendy Robertson Blvd boutique while her assistant carried around her choices.

As for "Melrose Place," it was just announced by Access Hollywood that original cast member Josie Bissett is returning to the show for a guest appearance on at least one episode.

Stepping out for a solo outing, Ashlee Simpson made a little time for herself at Senna Cosmetics and Make-up studio in Beverly Hills on Thursday (June 18).

Clad in a pair of high waisted blue jeans, heels and carrying a Louis Vuitton purse, the “Pieces of Me” mommy reportedly pampered herself for about half an hour before continuing along with the day.

The morning salon stop follows a fun-filled previous day, as Miss Simpson joined hubby Pete Wentz and their 7-month-old son Bronx on a trip to the LA Zoo.

Debunking talk of trouble in the marriage between Pete and Ashlee, a rep for Miss Simpson recently said, “Ashlee and Pete are in a stable, happy marriage. They love one another and love being a family.”

Making for quite the enjoyable family outing, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz took their son Bronx Mowgli to the Sea Cliffs exhibit at the LA Zoo on Wednesday (June 17).

An onlooker tells that the happy couple showed their tiny tot the aquarium along with other attractions, with Ashlee taking time to pose for a photograph with an excited fan.

Upon wrapping up their day's zoo outing, the trio headed towards the exits as Ashlee entertained Bronx with a Spongebob Squarepants toy while Pete pushed the stroller along.

The family time follows recent rumors of trouble in the marriage, as an insider told press, "Ashlee is having major problems with Pete right now. They fight constantly. She is seriously considering leaving him. They have been arguing a lot recently. They're in different places (in their lives)."
