Ashlee Simpson Throws SpongeBob PartyAshlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz threw their son a "rad" first birthday party on Saturday (21.11.09). Bronx Mowgli - who actually turned one on Friday (20.11.09) - was treated to a 'SpongeBob SquarePants'-themed bash at his grandparents Joe and Tina Simpson's house in Encino, California, which even included an impersonator dressed as the goofy, yellow sea sponge. Pete thanked his friends and family on Twitter for a "rad b-day for Bronx. (sic)" The tot was joined by 30 family and friends - including his pop star aunt Jessica Simpson - who tucked into birthday cake and played on a giant bouncy castle. Last week, Pete revealed his plans behind opting for the cartoon theme. He said: "Bronx likes Bob and he likes guitar - which he calls 'itar' so we're going to have a SpongeBob party for him." Pete was not Bronx's only family member to talk about his birthday celebration on Twitter. Ashlee wrote: "BX's 1st bday tomorrow! My angel is going to be a year!! The greatest year of my life :) (sic)"

Jessica Simpson "Chillbumps" - Ashlee Simpson Wentz as Roxie Hart on Broadway
Sister Jessica Simpson is thrilled and Ashlee Simpson Wentz has confirmed reports she will appear in the Broadway show Chicago. The 25-year-old previously appeared on London's West End as Roxie Hart and following the end of her stint on revived show Melrose Place, she will be heading to Broadway to play Roxie once again.
Ashlee will start her run as Roxie at New York's theatre district on November 30. She said: "I'm honored to be reprising my role as Chicago's Roxie Hart, returning to the stage and joining this amazing cast. "Being on Broadway is a childhood dream come true."
Jessica Simpson said she's getting 'chillbumps' thinking about her little sister Ashlee performing on Broadway. The 29-year-old actress recently supported her little sister Ashlee, 25, when she was fired from show Melrose Place and wrote on Twitter that the show was 'cr*p'.
Ashlee has since landed the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway play Chicago after first playing the role on London's West End in 2006. Ashlee recently wrote on Twitter: "Just finished second CHICAGO rehearsal. Man I love the theater and putting my dancing shoes back on!"
Her sister Jessica later put on Twitter: "I can't wait to watch @ashsimpsonwentz on broadway in all of her glory!!! I get chillbumps from toes to noggin thinking about it!!! YAY!!!!"

Heather Locklear Returns; Ashlee Simpson Raunchy Scene for Melrose Place
Ashlee Simpson Wentz is leaving Melrose with a bang. Heather Locklear has returned as Amanda Woodards but the steamy clench with a co-star on WB's Melrose Place gets attention. The 25-year-old singer/actress stripped off for some raunchy scenes involving her character Violet and Augle (Colin Egglesfield) in the re-launched version of the popular 90s series.
At one point, Violet whips off her vest and is pinned on a table by Augle as the pair get close in the outrageous clip. Simpson and her co-star Egglesfield have both been cut from the CW drama.
In a statement released after the announcement, Simpson-Wentz said, "Having the chance to play Violet on Melrose Place has been a thrill. Although I always knew her story would come to a final, insanely unpredictable end, playing a creepy, unstable character was something I always wanted to do, so I jumped at the chance. Thanks to CW and the entire cast and crew of Melrose Place for allowing me this opportunity."
The actors' departure comes just a few weeks after original Melrose alum Heather Locklear began filming scenes for upcoming episodes.

Julianne Hough Breakup - Ashlee Simpson Strips for Melrose Place
Julianne Hough and Chuck Hicks have split. Both are country signing stars and were even and stated their whirlwind romance on Dancing with the Stars but now they have decided to "take a break". The actress and sister of Jessica Simpson, will leave the show around episode 13. But before she does, it has been revealed that she will get almost naked for a steamy romp with co-star Colin Egglesfield.
Colin revealed to E! Online: "It involves us both wearing half-loin cloths that they had to tape to us. "There are very few clothes involved in the near future. Ashlee's character Violet is up for anything!"
A source close to the show told E! that Colin and Ashlee actually have not one but two super steamy sex scenes coming up. And Colin, who is also leaving the show, added that some very bad things are in the pipeline for his character in his final episodes. He said: "Things get pretty violent and kind of crazy. Auggie ends up hitting the bottle and falls off the deep end a little bit."
